class autopdex.spaces.InternalVariable(field_dimension=1)[source]

Gauss-point history variable for the high-level SimState interface.

Internal variables are declared next to FE spaces, but they do not define a basis or global dofs. SimState allocates them per materialized model block and quadrature point.
